Design feedback lives in five places. Comments in Figma. Threads in Slack. Notes from stakeholder meetings. Email chains. Someone's memory. When it is time to prioritize, nobody can find what was decided. (What is the core problem? Nobody can find what was decided, when it is time to prioritize.)

I audited a team's design feedback last quarter. They collected 127 pieces of design feedback over two months. Twelve made it into their product management system. Why Design Feedback Gets Lost

Establishing Feedback Capture Points

This structure transforms opinions into tickets that teams can prioritize and execute.

Integrating with Roadmap Prioritization

Notion serves as a flexible hub where design feedback, PRDs, and roadmaps can coexist with good database structuring.

AI design tools like Figr surface design feedback as part of the generation process. When AI identifies edge cases or suggests alternatives, that is built-in design critique that lives alongside the design output. (Where does the critique live? Alongside the design output.)

Creating Feedback Loops

When you prioritize feedback, communicate back to sources. "Your feedback about the checkout flow is now scheduled for Q2."

These loops build trust that feedback matters, which increases feedback quality over time.

Common Integration Failures

The first failure is over-capturing. If every comment becomes a ticket, your backlog becomes unmanageable. (What breaks first? Over-capturing.) Filter for actionable feedback.

The second failure is under-categorizing. Feedback without context cannot be prioritized. Always tag source, severity, and type.

The third failure is no closure. Feedback that enters the system but never reaches resolution creates cynicism. Track feedback to done or explicitly not-doing.

The fourth failure is manual processes. If integration requires human copying between systems, it will not happen consistently. Automate wherever possible.

Measuring Integration Effectiveness

Track feedback-to-action rate. What percentage of captured feedback reaches a ticket? Reaches shipped resolution? (What are you measuring, exactly? Feedback-to-action rate, and whether it reaches shipped resolution.)

Track time-to-action. How long between feedback capture and resolution?

Track source satisfaction. Do feedback providers feel heard? Survey periodically.

If these metrics are poor, your integration is not working. Diagnose and fix.

In short, integration is a system that must be measured and maintained.
